Inturotel Azul Garden

We'd happily stay again. It was an affordable holiday, with two wonderful beaches a short walk away and great beach bars looking out over the sea. Spar shops and a decent selection of restaurants were close by too. Of the three hotels, this was the quietest, which suited us. The large, very deep pool had plenty of sunbeds at any time of day. Our room was very clean, with air con, basic amenities, a massive bed, and a nice view over the well-kept gardens. Staff were attentive and friendly, especially at the pool bar.

I can't stop talking about how good it was! Being part of inturotel is awesome because you can access more than one hotel. The staff and service were so kind and polite, honestly 11/10. The food was amazing, especially the buffet at one of the inturotel hotels, an absolute chef's kiss. Our room was tidy, clean and awesome, and the view was beautiful. I can't recommend this enough, come here, it's beautiful!

The room was clean at first glance and well stocked for self-catering. We got in before the stated check-in time, but were given little information. The hotel charges €15 per person for a week in tax and €3 a day for the safe, which would have been useful to know in advance. Wifi didn't work during our stay. The sink and bidet both blocked and we had no hot water. They cleared the sink and turned on the hot water, but the sink blocked again and was fixed, while the bidet was never cleared. Pool rules were strict, no jumping or inflatables, and were only posted on a board by the pool. They weren't explained at check-in, so several people who'd bought inflatables couldn't use them. One of the three lifeguards was especially strict and even asked a parent to take away the tiny ring a six-month-old baby was sitting in. The pool bar was a little expensive, so we didn't use it much. Apparently the main hotel across the road was available to us, but we weren't told this and nothing about it was shown in the check-in area. I probably would have given the place four stars if checkout hadn't soured things. Checkout was at 11 am, and with a late flight we asked to keep the room until 2 pm so we could use the pool and shower. They offered it until 4 for €60, which we declined. The available showers were dark, cramped and had no lock. We left the curtains open when we checked out, and when we left at 3 pm nobody had cleaned the room, so it seemed easy to have let us keep it for free. We probably won't return.

I wouldn't recommend this place and won't come back. The pool was closed for half our holiday, the power kept going out, and the bathroom door wouldn't shut properly. On arrival we were told our room wasn't ready, then waited two hours to get in. The advertised apartment for three or four really sleeps two; one or two people have to use a small sofa that isn't a sofa bed. Rules seemed to change as they went along: our daughter was allowed a float in the pool one day, then they banned them the next. The pool bar was closed half the time too. The place is a joke. The holiday photos weren't even of this hotel, but of its sister hotel down the road.
