Inturotel Esmeralda Park

The adults-only pool wasn’t too busy in mid-September, and the hotel sits right beside a beautiful beach. The room was refurbished in May this year, but it already had lots of scratches and doors that didn’t close properly. It clearly wasn’t a high-quality renovation, though the soundproofing was great. Breakfast was included in our rate, but honestly it wasn’t good, and the choice was surprisingly limited. We enjoyed the stay because the location is so good, though there are some gaps. I can imagine the hotel gets very busy in peak season.

Daniela and Tom made a stressful situation much easier. My luggage was delayed by the airline during my trip to Palma, and I was told it would be delivered to the hotel. I was only staying two nights and felt very anxious. I went to reception several times, and Daniela and Tom reassured me kindly each time. On checkout day the luggage still hadn’t arrived, and I didn’t know what to do. Daniela personally called the airline and asked them to send it straight to my home in Korea. I don’t speak Spanish well, so I was grateful for their patience and support. I may not have their names exactly right, but they were at reception on Friday morning, October 10, 2025. The hotel itself was wonderful, from the view and atmosphere to the service. What made the stay special, though, was the care Daniela and Tom showed. Thank you. If I return to Palma, I’ll definitely stay at Esmeralda again.

The beds were the one thing that let us down. The main ones were extremely hard, and the sofa bed where the children slept became uncomfortable over a longer stay. Apart from that, we were very impressed with Inturotel Esmeralda Park and had a wonderful holiday. Cala Esmeralda is right next door, with turquoise water and beautiful scenery. The hotel’s stylish design and its red, white, and brown colors give the complex a warm, elegant feel. The pool area is lovely, well maintained, and a great place to relax or cool off after the beach. Staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to help. We went self-catering, so can’t comment on the food. That worked easily, with well-stocked supermarkets on almost every corner. The combination of the location, atmosphere, design, and welcoming staff made this our best hotel stay. We’d recommend it and hope to return soon.

The hotel is very clean, and the staff are lovely. We also liked the food and drinks, but the new pool layout made this an overcrowded nightmare. When I booked, the website showed the old, large pool overlooking the sea, with two big children's sections and a deeper pool. Since then, the pool has been completely changed as an “upgrade.” It’s much smaller now, and the infinity feature looks toward a bar instead of the sea. I don’t understand why it was designed that way. There’s no chance of getting a sunbed, and the pool is too cramped to swim properly. The small children’s pool is only suitable for toddlers, while the larger one is mostly too deep for older children. The beach is just as crowded, packed tightly with no room near the shore. There are so many people that it’s hard to swim and enjoy it comfortably. We were really disappointed and wouldn’t stay here again.
