Albergue A Fabrica

I loved the cats and chickens, and the host was friendly and helpful. It’s 10km from the end of the Way, with lovely surroundings to relax in and a really nice Bar/Cafe nearby. This was my favourite Albergue on the Camino. Just be aware that checkout is at 8am, so you have to leave early.

The room smelled bad, and there were sick people in it. The owners wouldn’t let us open the window for five minutes to air it out. The woman came in and moved people’s belongings while they weren’t there. They were invasive, rude, and mean. When I asked the mom if we could open the window briefly, she grabbed my arm. That felt abusive.

The kitchen area was fantastic, with all the basics we needed: pans, cutlery, crockery, a cooker, fridge, tables, and comfortable sofas. The laundry room was convenient, with a washing machine and dryer. The showers were clean with plenty of hot water, and the bathrooms were spotless. The hotel felt brand new and was spotless throughout. The surroundings were lovely, with plenty of green space. Staff were friendly and service was efficient. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

The place was exceptionally well run, like clockwork, with beautiful decor and spotless cleanliness. The shared beds had curtains for privacy and were comfortable, and the bathroom and shower facilities were great. The staff gave exceptional service, and everything had a real sense of discipline. Of all the Albergues I stayed in, this one stood out as truly great. I’d 100% come back.
