Apartamento A Fabrica

The owner was lovely and very attentive, and we’ll definitely return. The apartment is charming, nicely decorated, well equipped, and very comfortable for two or three people. It’s a 15-minute bus ride from Santiago, with the stop 200 meters away. Having a parking space of its own is great. It’s on a cobbled street, but perfectly accessible. A portable clothesline and a large dustpan and broom would be useful, though they do have a small handheld one. I also feel the exterior facade doesn’t do justice to the lovely apartment inside. A fresh coat of paint might improve its appearance, but that’s just my personal opinion. It’s well worth it.

The shared area and garden are beautifully landscaped. It’s a very nice, newly opened hostel, with modern showers and beds that have curtains for a bit more privacy. There’s also a restaurant next door serving a pilgrim menu.

If you want somewhere close to the access roads and away from the city chaos, this apartment is a great choice. It’s very clean and comfortable, and there’s a restaurant on the premises with super-affordable menus and excellent service. Alcira is a friendly host who pays attention to what you need.

Alcira and her daughter are delightful, and the apartment is lovely. The kitchen has everything you need, and it’s excellent value for money.
