Hotel Carrís Casa de la Troya

Good value for the price, with lovely, very clean rooms and excellent service. The hotel is in a great location, and reception is open 24 hours.

Everyone was so kind and helpful, from the lady making us perfect coffee at breakfast to the two cleaning ladies who brought us fresh towels with a smile. The breakfast was incredible, and the whole hotel, including the rooms, was very clean. Hotel Carris De La Troya is in the best possible spot, just behind the Cathedral, with everything close and an easy walk away. We had an amazing time. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. When I can, I'll definitely come back. Super recommend. Thank you to the wonderful staff!

The location is excellent, and the front desk staff were very good, but this was poor value for money. Room 108 felt like a cell, with just a small porthole window and one bedside table. The enormous bed cushions had to go in the tiny wardrobe just to make some space. There was no minibar. For £326 for two nights, it was by far the worst value on our trip to Galacia. That room should be a storage cupboard, not a hotel room. The breakfast room is on the small side, and an enormous toaster takes up too much of it. I'm not a fan of coffee machines at breakfast, but they need one here. The poor waitress is constantly rushing downstairs to make cups of coffee. Why not give people a pot of coffee?

The location is nice, but the room was very small for how expensive it was. The bathroom door was rotting, and I got bed bugs here.
