A lovely spot for a little privacy after walking the Camino Sanabres. I've been walking since Seville, and places like this are always nice.

We arrived on Labor Day while the hotel was hosting a big party. They still checked us in promptly, and dinner was delicious. A good experience all around.

We were in zamora on easter sunday and couldn't find space elsewhere for our group of 12, so we ate here. The food was okay and very filling. I couldn't finish the second plate because the first had filled me up, but it wasn't anything special.

The oven ribs at the restaurant were really succulent. Bed and menú came to 16€. The pilgrim facilities are pretty decent and feel new. The mattresses are pleasantly above average, and the memory type pillows were such a joy!

The menú del día offers a choice of dishes, but most of the food was dull and tasteless. The homemade desserts were alright. I also agree with other reviewers that some staff could use a course in hospitality, though the receptionist was nice. The church bells rang every half hour through the night, which didn't help me get a good rest. I think the albergue is a better place to stay: it's quite spacious, has a brand new interior, and there are no church bell sounds. Rooms here are quite cheap, so you can't expect stylish surroundings or great luxury. When I complained about cigarette smell in the first room offered, they moved me to a room in the new wing. That one had a caved in mattress and wasn't very nice to sleep on. It seemed like the wrong kind of mattress, low quality and suited only to lightweight people, not for extended hotel use. This place has more potential, especially with so many pilgrims passing by.
