Hotel Plaza Obradoiro by Bossh! Hotels

After the Camino, this felt like the right splurge. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and modern, and the staff were welcoming and kind, speaking English graciously. I could leave my pack here and walk just a few steps to the church for Mass. It's worth it, and I'll recommend this hotel in Santiago de Compostela to everyone I know walking a Camino.

Resting after the Camino was easy here, with a room that had everything I needed. It's a great little hotel in the best spot in Santiago. Restaurante Raxoi, the little cafe two doors down, was also great. All the locals go there, which tells you a lot.

The location was superb, and the woman at reception gave us an excellent welcome. But breakfast was the worst of the six hotels we stayed at in Spain. Both mornings, food wasn't replenished unless we asked, and the tables around us were left uncleared.

The room was a little small, but had all the facilities, and the location on the square opposite the cathedral was excellent. Restaurante Raxoi is also nearby. The shower was very good after a long walk, and when the room felt too warm, the helpful receptionist brought us a fan. Communal umbrellas were available if needed. We didn't eat breakfast here, we went to Raxoi instead. I'd recommend this place if I visit the area again.
