The room smelled of mold and sewage. There were stains on the bed, and the sheets were dusty enough to make my skin itch. The customer service was great, though, and the staff were friendly and helped with information about local transportation.

A nice, quiet place with clean rooms. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist, who gave us lots of useful information about the area and what to do in Santiago. We'd gladly recommend it and would return if we could.

We were walking the Camino when we stayed here. Noelia was charming and very helpful, with excellent English, and we had great fresh seafood at the hotel restaurant. A lovely hotel.

I can wholeheartedly recommend O Desvío. Fantastic every time, with fresh seafood, great steaks, and desserts that are hard to resist. The quality is absolute.
