Christine at the front desk was phenomenal. She gave us spot-on directions and restaurant recommendations, and the location made it a great way to enjoy Santiago de Compastela. Just a note about room 34: it’s lovely, but you can hear the cathedral bells tolling through the night :)

Step outside and you can see one of the cathedral towers. The location is great. This is a small hotel, and the staff welcomed us warmly. Our attic room was small but comfortable, with views over the rooftops. Breakfast was simple and delicious.

The building, its history and the rooms are all worth seeing, and the renovations have been done beautifully, keeping the period character while adding modern convenience. We especially liked the shared space with the stained glass ceiling. It was a lovely place to sit and chat with our sister and brother before bed. Parking in the old city is tricky, as it is everywhere there. We had such a wonderful stay that I’m coming back after a Camino with my daughter. The front desk staff were stellar.

We’re absolutely loving our stay. The room is spacious and clean, and the woman at reception was honestly so nice. The hotel is beautiful and cozy, in a traditional building with a fascinating design and a really well-done restoration. It’s right around the corner from the Cathedral, very central. Definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Santiago. A 10/10 for us :)
