A run-down dump, cheap for a reason. It’s a mix of residential apartments and rentals, with no reception staff and a helpline that went unanswered. The A/C didn’t work, and when I complained I felt fobbed off. I had to fix the bed, bathroom window, cupboard door and balcony furniture myself. No cleaning or rubbish collection, and absolutely no parking. There are better places out there.

The pool was fine, and the west-facing balcony gets lovely afternoon sun. It’s a functional apartment, though there could be more space for clothes, and the washing machine beside the toilet might be awkward for very tall people. The location is great, with good bars and restaurants an easy walk away, though the area is hilly. Lukas replies quickly.

Lukas gave us a warm welcome and lots of useful information at check-in. Parking was easy, Lidl is five minutes away, and there’s a great restaurant next door. The large balcony looks out toward La Gomera and La Palma, and the location is excellent. The Appattament could use a little TLC, but it was still excellent and I’d stay again.

The flat is spacious inside, and Lukas, the property manager, was friendly and helpful. But the huge terrace was the highlight, with a breathtaking outlook over the cliffs and sea and the sunset over La Gomera. It’s the best view I’ve had at a place I’ve stayed.
