Klayman Diamond Aparthotel

The sofa and dining chairs could be more comfortable, and parking sometimes takes a bit of effort. There’s usually a space somewhere on the street, though it may mean a walk. On Christmas Eve we couldn’t find one and had to park down in the village. Even with those snags, we had a wonderful two weeks over Christmas and New Year. Our second-floor apartment had a separate bedroom, a lovely view and a well-equipped kitchen with everything we needed for cooking as vegetarians. We took our own tea towels, as another review suggested. The staff were kind and helpful, and when the toilet flush occasionally stuck, they fixed it straight away. We also enjoyed delicious dinners at the hotel on Christmas and New Year’s Eve, with live music. The pictures show the evening view from our balcony.

The hotel’s food was brilliant, and if Nacho is serving as waiter or behind the bar, he’ll make you feel welcome and at home. The location was perfect, looking over the beach and the beautiful cliffs of los gigantes. Staff were always polite and friendly, and went out of their way to help. This was my girlfriend’s and my first holiday together, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. It may have been the best holiday I’ve ever had. Thanks to everyone who made the trip memorable.

We were really impressed by the clean rooms and shared areas, the location, the food and how friendly everyone was. Gabriela, Veronica and Angela all went above and beyond during our stay. My wife found something gluten free at breakfast every day thanks to Angela, who always greeted us with a smile. When we had an early start to catch the ferry to La Gomera and would miss breakfast, Gabriela arranged a picnic with the chef. Veronica was friendly and knowledgeable, and kept helping us even after we’d checked out ahead of our late flight. The Aparthotel had excellent facilities and amazing views. Thanks, everyone. The walk into town is pleasant and easy, though getting back up the hill can be a challenge, especially for older people. The accommodation is great and the location convenient. What really makes Klayman Diamond for us, though, is the staff. They seem focused on making your stay as pleasant as possible. We’ve always enjoyed coming here and will be back.
