Casa Los Aperos

The area around Casa Rural Los Aperos was a real highlight, with plenty of hiking routes and outdoor activities and some gorgeous scenery. The hosts also pointed us toward local food, and the dishes we tried were delicious. We made use of the well-equipped kitchen too, which was handy for cooking our own meals. The house itself was comfortable, with roomy, well-kept rooms and facilities. Its quiet setting made it a good place to get away from everyday life. From our arrival, the owners were warm and welcoming, and we felt at home. It was a memorable stay, and we'd be glad to come back. Thanks for everything.

We spent four days there over Holy Week with two families. The patio, picnic area, and chicken coop were just right, and the place was clean and well located. The only restaurant there is worth recommending. There were some problems, though: the TV signal kept cutting out, and the hot water would suddenly go cold. One rainy afternoon the power went out across the house. We called Diego, who said it was because of a lantern.

The kids loved caring for the chickens, and the patio was great for them too, with a vegetable garden, grass, trees, and a trampoline for the little ones. We were two couples with children, and the house worked out wonderfully. The covered picnic spot in the patio was amazing, and upstairs was a dream. Diego was kind throughout and had the whole booking process very well organized, from check-in and information to payment and check-out. Fantastic house. We'll be back! 😊

The house looks lovely, but it was freezing and the heating didn't work. The hot water was only lukewarm. The owner wasn't helpful, and wanted to charge us €15 for four logs, plus another €15 because four glasses and two plates were left unwashed. Beware!
