The garden was the best part. The pond, though, was so stagnant that you couldn't even see the fish. Everything else made for a bad stay. Payment was a problem from the start: they would only take cash, Bizum, or card for €1250. A bank transfer wasn't allowed, even though we'd already paid €500 in advance. Before we even had the keys, they suggested cutting our holiday short. The next day we complained about the cold and damp in the house, with children staying there, and were told to find somewhere else. For seven people staying ten days, there was one dishcloth for the whole house and one towel per person, with hand towels shared between two people. There was a washing machine, but the weather wasn't suitable for drying clothes. Most mattresses were terrible, except for two that seemed new. There was barely any kitchenware, and the sofa, if you could call it that, only sat three even though the house sleeps eight.

A quiet area, no noise, and an excellent location made for a very pleasant stay. The place was clean, the service was excellent, and the shared areas were in good shape. Ideal for families.

I wouldn't return. We spent a week there with few amenities, then he accused me of taking some bathmats. Unbelievable. What a way to ruin the experience.

We've had a wonderful weekend here, and we've returned since. The apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortable, with two bedrooms, and it's close to Santillana. We'll keep coming back.
