Apartamentos La Gloria

The apartment itself was clean, in good condition and really cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. But we paid extra for a bathtub and the apartment we were given didn’t have one. When we called, the service wasn’t very friendly, though they did offer to move us, which was our right. The man who came to move us was extremely unpleasant and blamed us for the situation. The replacement apartment had a one-metre tub that was only suitable for babies, so we couldn’t use that either. We found the information about the place scant and unreliable, and the website photos look dilapidated and don’t do it justice. We also had to chase them several times to get the payment processed. It was finally done five days after we left, which I don’t understand. It’s a shame they don’t put more effort into the website and customer service. Alberto was the exception. He greeted us and was the only one who was friendly.

Ana and Ramiro made us feel like family, and the breakfast was excellent. The apartments are welcoming and very well equipped. We were lucky to find this place, the kids are having a fantastic time and we’ll definitely be back. There’s a pool, tennis court, table tennis, ping-pong and a mini-park for little ones, all in a fantastic spot surrounded by nature. A special place for a wonderful holiday.

There are two apartment complexes: the one with the pool and the annex a few metres away. I think you need a car to get between them, though walking along the road is possible. When we were assigned an apartment in the annex, Ana always made sure to explain and point this out. It’s our third visit, and the beautiful area and Ana’s hospitality and helpfulness keep bringing us back. I hope we can return again and again. Highly recommend it.

A great place to rest for a few days. The apartment is simple but has everything we needed, and it’s wonderfully quiet. Ana was pleasant and attentive. The location is handy for Santander, Potes, Comillas and more.
