The dishes looked really well presented, and the food was excellent. We had great attention from the staff throughout dinner last night. Everything was top notch, and I'd happily recommend it.

We wouldn't return. The bill came to just over €60, which felt like a tourist rip-off even allowing for Santillana del Mar being a tourist town where you expect higher prices. The portions were big, but the food quality was mediocre, and I'd have preferred smaller servings made better. Service did what it needed to, though there wasn't any personal interaction. We were put in the covered terrace on a damp evening, which made sense, but the restaurant was nearly empty and felt short on atmosphere. Nothing was especially bad, but nothing was especially good either.

There were nine of us, and we managed to get a table at very short notice. The food was exquisite, and the service was really friendly. Highly recommended.

The food was great, and dogs are welcome both inside the restaurant and on the big sunny terrace. Things felt a bit hectic because they were short-staffed. The waiter looking after the indoor tables did a fantastic job, especially with seven tables to cover, including two big groups. He deserves a raise and a promotion!
