I stopped in for breakfast and had a horrible experience. Staff were unfriendly, and for €4 I got tasteless bread, sour cheese, and tomato from a packet. The juice was boxed. The coffee was good, at least.

The waitress was the best part, so friendly and welcoming. This is a lovely Posada with clean rooms and excellent food, and it won't break the bank. Its convenient location makes it easy to visit beautiful places like playa de santa justa, Altamira, Comillas, and Cueva del.soplao.

The dining room was pleasant, and you could choose to eat outside. Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a distinctive style and lots of character, which I loved. My room was comfortable, though a little small and very warm. Air conditioning would be a welcome addition. I'd definitely stay again when I'm in the area.

The only real issue for us was breakfast, as other reviews have mentioned. The choices were baguette with jam or marmalade, a few cakes, apples, oranges, and coffee from the machine. There was no hot breakfast or cooked food, and no eggs, salami, cheese, bacon, beans, or sausages. We had a nice stay in February 24. The location is very good, about 650m from a square, and our room was okay with no problems.

The food was good, though not especially cheap. We came for a weekend to relax and enjoy nature, but Saturday was chaotic from midday until 10 pm. The dining room was packed with people shouting and drinking, so resting or reading was out of the question. Later they moved to the bar, where the loud talking and laughter carried on until 10.
