The room was clean, especially the bathroom, which felt very well sanitized, and the basic amenities were fine. This place works if you miss your 🚌 or need an emergency stop in Santomera. I felt awkward, though, when I ordered food by phone from outside their restaurant. I had to ask permission to buy anything elsewhere, and in my opinion that rule is ridiculous.

The meal was delicious, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and clearly looked after. What stayed with us most was the family running Hotel Restaurante Los Santos. They were warm, attentive, and smiling, and made us feel at home right away. It’s lovely to meet people who put so much care into their work. Sending them a big hug from Alcoy, and we hope to come back soon.

Santos and Chari made us feel so welcome, and the food and rooms were beyond what I’d expect even from a 4 or 5-star hotel. I’ve traveled a lot and didn’t think much could surprise me anymore. The home-style cooking was refined, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was remarkable. I didn’t want to leave. Thank you for the wonderful service! AMUNT!!!

We stopped overnight on the way to Málaga, taking a small detour from our route. Dinner and breakfast there were both enjoyable. We’ll come back another time! 👍

The room cleaning is the one bright spot. Those women do a fantastic job. But the food is very mediocre and almost the same every day, and the service leaves a lot to be desired. They get involved where they aren’t wanted, even though that isn’t their job. I’ve never seen anywhere else where they start asking what you’ll eat for lunch tomorrow as soon as you’ve finished dinner. Only here.
