We got a free upgrade to a roomy room, which was a lovely surprise, and there’s a pillow menu so you can pick the pillows you prefer. The bathrooms are a bit old but work well. The hotel is lovely and right in the center. Light sleepers might want headphones, since the walls are thin, though outside noise wasn’t an issue. I’d definitely recommend it and stay again.

The bed and bathroom were basic, but everything was very clean. There were paper cups instead of glasses, though reception could give you fresh cups if you asked. Breakfast was a good buffet, and the hotel is very well located. It can get a little noisy inside at night. They forgot my birthday, while two other guests received a nice cake with a candle.

The staff were truly helpful and gave us great recommendations. They suggested LA Tinnara and Pizza Bart, where the chicken and beef lasagna was 😋😋😋😋. The hotel itself is lovely and well situated, less than a 20-minute walk from museums and shopping. My fiancé and I came to Madrid for an NFL game, and I’ll definitely stay here again. Everyone was great at answering our questions. One thing to keep in mind: my passport was somehow stolen while I was walking around, so keep yours very close.

The terrace is a lovely spot for guests, with a view over the city, and I’d stay again for the location. I was on the top floor of this cute, well-placed hotel. The rooms up there had a slight musty smell, possibly from the garbage disposal area on that floor near the breakfast room. Mornings could also be noisy because the breakfast area is close to the rooms. Be aware that the lift is tiny. It might fit three people without bags, or maybe two with luggage, so stairs could be an issue if you can’t manage them.
