Right on the Camino Way, and a good place to stay. We were there for two nights; the hotel was comfortable, the staff were very nice, and the basic room was clean and had what we needed. We also ate at the cafe bar, where the food and service were great.

The food was awful, and one waiter was the most unfriendly I’ve ever encountered. The rooms are basic, which would be fine, but some were in unacceptable condition. This was the worst hotel and restaurant we experienced on the whole Camino. Avoid it.

I was a solo traveler, though my room had two beds. It was clean and had reliable hot water, and I appreciated the elevator because I didn’t have to carry my luggage upstairs. Breakfast was included and served buffet-style, with plenty to choose from. The people working there were helpful too. Sergio explained how the stamping works along the Camino, which was useful since it was my first time walking it. I’d been booked through camino reservas as my Sarria accommodation and was initially apprehensive after reading negative reviews, but I was happy with the stay.

Our Camino agency, Galiwonders, booked spacious lodging for us at the dpCristal, and we were well looked after. We had both dinner and breakfast, and the food was delicious.

The internet worked perfectly and the accommodation was OK in general, with a good breakfast. We didn’t get enough towels, and there was just one tiny shampoo sachet for three people. No hand soap either. The sheets were a bit old, and I’d give the cleanliness a 6/10.
