The Duero is close by, so there are all sorts of outings to enjoy in this astonishing setting. Portugal is only 7 km away. A marvellous place, and the people are lovely too.

The Duero River gorges are spectacular. This is a pleasant open-air resort on the site of an old dam, with all kinds of facilities at reasonable prices.
A completely relaxing stay.
Dinner and breakfast service was fine, and the setting is lovely, all green and beautiful. But I wouldn't recommend it unless the menus improve. The pool is advertised, but it wasn't working. On the first day, the shower was freezing for all four of us in the cabin. They said it worked, but that can't be right, since it worked for all four of us the next day. The beds are very poor, and there are only stools, no chairs. I need a backrest when I sit.
Breakfast was really good, and dinner too. I'd book the meals with your accommodation, since there aren't many other options nearby. We had a peaceful weekend with family or friends, and the resort staff were very friendly. Víctor at the beach bar was great and treated us fantastically. One small drawback: the pool closes at 8:00 PM. In August the sun does go behind the mountains by then, though. It's a shame about the wooden cabin, they could make it into a bar or pub.
