We visited in October with a very large family, and there was plenty of room for everyone. It seems like it would be especially nice in summer, with the pool and the long outdoor dining table beneath the big tree. The only little drawback was the dishwasher. It worked well only about half the time.
We’d stayed here years ago and loved it, so this visit with our family for a few days left us disappointed. The house is still lovely, with a pool and lots of room for a quiet break, but the cleaning and upkeep need attention. The sofa is very uncomfortable, with a board under the cushions to stop it sagging. We had to wash the kitchenware before using it, and the dryer didn’t work properly. It’s a shame such a beautiful place isn’t getting the care it needs.
Victoriano gave us helpful advice during our three-week family stay. The surrounding villages have shops with good-quality products. The house itself was a peaceful retreat. The pool was lovely and cleaned each week, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the bedrooms were spacious and clean. Everything was perfect.
The climb up to the house is difficult, and the hammock cushions could do with replacing. Those were the only small drawbacks. The house is spectacular, with thoughtful details throughout. The owners are lovely and attentive, and made everything easy. We had a great time and felt very comfortable.
