Casa Rural el Argen

The jacuzzi was a nice extra, and the house was warm, clean, and in a good location. The owner was incredibly friendly. There were some downsides, though: the kitchen is missing a lot of items, the mattress and bed frame need replacing, and the blankets had a damp, musty smell. There's no Wi-Fi, and mobile coverage is minimal.

It's a complete country house, close to the center and quiet enough for sleeping. Just be aware there's a lot of climbing, with four floors and many stairs, and it gets very hot in summer.

The jacuzzi, one of the main attractions, was dirty and wasn't working properly. There were also defects throughout the bathrooms, kitchen, and bedrooms. We reported them, but nothing was done, and the response was that they already knew. If they knew, they should have fixed things before another guest arrived. The booking contact didn't come to meet us, and no one else came in their place. The little information we got was all through WhatsApp. I could keep listing problems. The service was very poor, and the house was terribly maintained. Never again!

We only stayed two days because the house was booked after that. It was clean and had everything we needed, and the quiet area meant we rested really well. The owner was kind and even helped us find somewhere else to stay when we had to leave. We're very grateful.
