The rooms were very nice and clean, and the included breakfast was pretty good. The hotel's own parking was handy for us as travellers. Unfortunately, the mattresses weren't very comfortable.

Hotel Don Felipe felt like a lovely little oasis in central Segovia. The street gets busy with tourists during the day, but quiets down enough for a good night's sleep. The terrace is wonderful, with a view of the Alcazar, and breakfast has a variety of options.

The hotel is within walking distance of most Segovia sights, and our two-night stay here as our first stop in Spain was such a good choice. Room #306 had a beautiful Alcazar view and a balcony. It had two twin beds, a desk area, mini fridge, closet, and a decent-sized bathroom with a bidet. The shower was amazing! Breakfast cost 9euro and had a good selection: eggs, meats and cheeses, fruit, pastries, coffee, juice, and cold cereals. I really loved our stay. One thing that confused us: the room key card powers the room. You put it in a slot on the wall next to the door to turn on the electricity. Nobody explained this at check-in, and we didn't notice the note on the key card paper. I had to ask the hotel attendant at the front desk, who came up to show us.
