QH Granada Centro

The receptionist was really friendly and gave us Granada maps, along with explanations of different things. The apartment reception is inside Hotel Monjas del Carmen, and the entrance to the apartments is beside the garage door. There's a taxi stand a minute away, plus a bus stop around the corner for the bus up to the Alhambra. We stayed in apartment 12, right opposite the elevator. It's a very central spot, five minutes from the cathedral and 15 from the Alhambra. The apartment has a separate paid parking space, but it's narrow, so be careful not to scratch your car. A small or medium car is best, something like an Audi A3, Mazda 3, or Peugeot 308. The bathroom has a washing machine, hair dryers, and dispensers for shower gel and shampoo, though the dispensers don't work very well. In the kitchen there's a fridge, ceramic hob, extractor fan, capsule coffee machine, sink, and bin. The living room next to it has air conditioning, a sofa bed, and a small table. There’s also an iron, ironing board, and clothes rack. A larger dining table sits between the kitchen and living room. The bedroom has a double bed, two bedside tables, and a built-in wardrobe. There were several pillows and sets of towels. At night, they take the trash cans out and put them away. It was a bit annoying because the noise echoes down the alley.

The location was the only good part. The room wasn't what we expected at all: the toilet was dirty and so small that only one person could fit, and the TV wasn't tuned. For what it actually was, I thought the price was quite expensive.

A welcoming, comfortable apartment with good equipment, and a perfect base for visiting Granada.
