Our superior double felt tired and in need of care, and we were extremely disappointed. I don't know which rooms the people posting glowing reviews had, but ours was room 201, for two nights at the end of May. On a very hot afternoon, we arrived to find the air conditioning off and the wooden shutters open, with sun and heat pouring in. The room felt about five degrees hotter than outside, and the bathroom was worse. It faced west and had windows without shutters, so it was hot and incredibly bright. Neither the room nor bathroom floor was very clean, and the carpet under the bed hadn't even been straightened. That's a small thing, but it showed how little care had gone into the room. The photos posted here look completely different from what we experienced.

The restaurant served very nice food, and the buffet breakfast is well worth adding. Drinks and dinner from the regular menu felt a bit overpriced. Our room was large, with a huge, really comfortable bed, and the staff gave exceptional service. The hotel blends its old palatial character with modern comforts beautifully. We had a great stay and would recommend it to other couples.

The location was perfect, and the breakfast buffet was both good and reasonably priced. It's a really distinctive place to stay, with lovely staff. Highly recommend.

Hotel Cetina was spotless, and everyone on staff was polite and warm. We loved our room, especially the roomy bathroom. They even had a flat iron, which was a nice extra for me. Segovia itself was enchanting to visit, and we had a wonderful stay.

We couldn't sleep well in Room 001. It's right beside reception, and the sound insulation is poor, so we heard people walking past and a repetitive noise through the night. We asked to switch rooms as soon as we checked in, but there wasn't another one available then. The hotel is calm, comfortable, well located, and has a luxurious feel. Despite our room experience, I'd still recommend it for its quality and atmosphere, though I'd strongly advise against Room 001 if you want a quiet night's rest.
