Hotel San Antonio El Real

The staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was fine, and the aircon worked. It's an easy walk from the centre, though the hotel itself could use a refresh.

Parking was great, and the hotel was very nice. The Wi-Fi was just okay, not the best. Avoid room 227, it's right above the smoking area.

The garden is large and well kept, a lovely patch of green in the city, and the hotel's atrium doubles as a terrace beside the restaurant. There's also a spacious lounge bar. We found the room practical and well maintained rather than cozy, with a roomy bathroom, comfortable beds, and a shower with strong pressure and steady hot water. Individual air conditioning was a lifesaver during the heatwave. Breakfast was included and quite good, especially by Spanish standards. Set in a beautiful old monastery in central Segovia, the hotel is easy to reach by car or public transport. Reception is staffed around the clock, and the welcoming team spoke excellent English, despite many guests being Spanish. I'd book again on a future visit.

Breakfast had a good range, and the restaurant was very good, with a vegan option. There are two private outdoor parking spots onsite as well as a garage. The location was perfect. This is one of the most beautiful hotels we've slept in, and you can feel the history. Our room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, with a big bathroom and all the cosmetics you need. Huge recommendation. I'd give it an 8 if the scale went beyond 5!
