Hotel Rural La Teja

When work brings me to the area, I always try to book Hotel Rural La Teja. The rooms are fantastic, and the service is excellent. They’re professional and helpful for people traveling on business, and being able to arrive at any time is convenient. Highly recommended.

Our friends had invited us for two nights, otherwise we would have left after the first one. The room itself was spacious, new, tastefully decorated, and had good quality sheets and towels. But an engine kept switching on and off in the background, and we couldn’t sleep. We only managed three or four hours once exhaustion finally won. We asked reception to move us, but they didn’t. Manuel, the owner, came and confirmed the noise could be heard in every room. We considered leaving, but it was already 9 p.m. and we had plans with our friends. Since our friends had booked this as a guest offer, there was also an awkward moment when we arrived and were told we’d have to pay. I had to call them and ask if they’d paid already, which felt inappropriate. We didn’t owe anything; the hotel checked and eventually gave us the keys. I think our friends should at least have been refunded the cost of one night, €70.

The staff were warm and attentive, and the room was clean, large, and cozy. The bathroom was exceptionally clean too. I stayed on the 22nd and 23rd of this month and would definitely recommend it. I’ll choose this hotel again.

A lovely place in a beautiful setting, with facilities that seem almost brand new. The price is unbeatable. I’d highly recommend staying here when you’re in the area.
