The homemade breakfast is absolutely worth having, and the service was great. The rooms are clean, pretty, and practical, and the owner is friendly, kind, and always available. The location could be better, though being from a city, the tiny town took a bit of getting used to. The locals we met were very friendly. The village bar owner is cheerful and lovely, and there's a little shop with delicious homemade pastries. Sepúlveda, with more attractions including caves, is a few miles away. I find it hard to enjoy sightseeing in "forgotten Castile," but this place, especially the breakfast, makes the trip worthwhile. So do the people of Consuegra de Murera and the chance to help bring Castile back to life.

We only stayed briefly, but it was just right. The place was clean and welcoming, and the quiet gave us a chance to recharge. We had everything we needed. Breakfast was homemade, generous, and delicious, and the stay was good value.

Mari and José were wonderful hosts, and the people of Consuegra de Murera were lovely too. The room was cosy, the bathroom spotless, and the mountain and sunflower field views were idyllic. Their lounge is beautiful as well. The village is peaceful, the bar has a great atmosphere, and the location is excellent, just a few minutes from Hoces del Duero Natural Park and Sepúlveda. I visited Segovia when it was still open and had a fantastic experience. As soon as we feel unsafe, I'll be back with my family.

I was looking for a quiet place away from the city's noise, and this was the right choice. The welcome is warm and personal, and the rooms are spacious and bright. There's plenty of parking right outside, which is very handy. If you're after an affordable retreat near Segovia, you'll feel very comfortable here.

Mari Carmen is a delight, and her breakfasts are spectacular. We had a wonderful weekend in a beautiful house with tasteful decor and spacious, warm, lovely rooms. The little village is so peaceful, and the night sky full of stars is breathtaking. There are countless things to do nearby, and I'd definitely come back.
