The owner was friendly, and the peaceful surroundings were lovely, but the prices left us feeling cheated. The rooms didn't feel worth what they cost, and dinner even less so. The house itself was well maintained. I'd give it two stars for the setting, the owner's kindness, and the discount to visit the Serinya Caves, but it's not a place I'd put high on my list for another stay.

The owner was very attentive, and the farmhouse has good WiFi throughout, though phone reception is barely there. It's quiet, with few guests, roomy bedrooms, and nearby villages to visit. Mosquitoes were the one nuisance, but decent repellent helps. A few things to plan for: they don't take cards, and dinner or other special requests need to be arranged ahead. Our two rooms had no TVs, so ask about that if it matters. There aren't many outlets either, so keep an eye on your device batteries.

The breakfast was tasty and filling, and the service felt warm and friendly. We didn't get a chance to try dinner. It's a peaceful place, with farmhouse space and decor that bring rural Catalonia of our ancestors to mind. The lake, Banyoles, Besalú and other places of interest are nearby.

Silvia and Tomás were wonderful hosts, and the natural setting is beautiful. The house was clean, comfortable, spacious, and exceptionally well equipped. The kitchen was simply spectacular. Absolutely recommend it.

We had a really good stay. The house is lovely and very well cared for, and the welcome was great. They even adjusted the food for our celiac diet, which we really appreciated. We were very happy and recommend staying here!
