There’s a large pool, a playground and a barbecue area, and it’s easy to reach Benasque by car or bike. We also found plenty of hikes within a 20-40 minute drive. We camped here for a few days with our dog, and although there were lots of other dogs, it stayed peaceful. You can hear the river any time of day. The owners are lovely, and the campsite feels like an oasis. Our pitch had grass and shade and was well kept. It’s clear they put a lot of work into maintaining the place and making gradual improvements. The showers and toilets are new and generally very well looked after. The owners do what they can, though some guests leave things dirty, and it’s not realistic to clean after every use. Prices are fair for what’s offered. We’ll definitely come back, and might try one of the pet-friendly bungalows.

The food’s great, and every member of the family who runs the campsite is so friendly and welcoming. I enjoy every minute there. I come once or twice a year, and my dad keeps a caravan there all year. The ski pistes are about 15 km away.

The walks and bike rides start right from the campsite, and the restaurant serves delicious food at a great price. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were good. The site itself is lovely and exceptionally clean. Book early in summer if you can. We booked late and got pitch 147, which was too small, had very hard ground and no shade. Highly recommended otherwise.

We didn’t enjoy our stay. The amenities, including the restrooms, felt outdated, and they weren’t properly cleaned each day. It seemed like someone had only given the floor a quick, half-hearted sweep, while the toilets hadn’t been cleaned at all. Worst of all, there was human feces around the drinking water sink for at least three days. We couldn’t say exactly how long, since we left, but someone had apparently emptied a camper toilet there. Really disgusting.

The location is very good, which made it a shame that the site felt too crowded for us. After checking in, I was shown to a tent pitch, but there seemed to be far too many people close together, with little regard for COVID. I’m not sure what the rules are in this part of Spain, but I decided not to stay. It’s a very large site and appears to have all the amenities you’d expect.
