We’re staying here for the third time, and the owners are wonderful hosts who make sure you have everything you need. The rooms are cozy, spacious, and very clean, with bathrooms that are impeccably sanitized. It’s accessible for people with reduced mobility. Breakfast is excellent, good and inexpensive, just around the corner, about a minute away. The hotel deserves four stars, especially when plenty of places with more stars aren’t as good. It’s a great base for visiting Ronda, Setenil, the Caminito del Rey, the Fuente de Piedra lagoons, or even taking a day trip to Seville or Cordoba.

The village is tiny, but there’s a small grocery shop nearby, cash only, and a bar around the corner. I especially liked how quiet it was. It’s a beautiful classic building, spacious and nicely furnished, with a shared seating area and roomy private rooms. The linens and towels smelled wonderful, and the shower shampoo was so lovely I wish supermarkets sold it. The owners are genuinely kind. I mostly saw the lady, who came down with a nasty case of food poisoning and recovered well after a few nights. Thanks, Ana, for taking such warm care of me!

The manager was friendly when I called to ask about breakfast hours, and the breakfast itself was delicious. In person, the service was excellent, with useful tips for tourists. My room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and tidy. The mattress was the best surprise, firm and comfortable with no sagging. I’d definitely stay again.

The food was delicious, especially the meat and soup, and it was very affordable. The tapas are well worth trying, and the waiters and waitresses were incredibly attentive. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and had a pleasant feel. There’s also a lobby where you can relax with a shot of anise liqueur and a shortbread cookie.
