The food was satisfying, and Luis was very accommodating about my dietary needs. After cycling the Ruta de la Lana, I was tired and appreciated being able to eat dinner and two lunches at the hostal. I stayed three nights to rest and explore Sigüenza. They welcomed me warmly and let me bring my bike inside straight away. My charming room was good value, with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom, small TV, and table and chairs. I’d recommend it to travellers, especially Camino de la Lana pilgrims. Muy buena acogida, habitación limpia con todo lo necesario, en el centro de la ciudad. Recomiendo también las comidas.

The place smelled of smoke, the lighting was dim, and the towels were really old. The paintwork was terrible. I’d avoid it.

The room was spacious and the bed super comfortable, and the receptionist was very friendly. The location is excellent, right by the park and around five minutes from Plaza Mayor, major monuments, bars, and restaurants. Good value for money. You have to keep expectations realistic for a 2-star hotel, but this one delivers more than it promises.

For a one-night stop, it does the job, and the location is very good. There’s an interior elevator, and the old-fashioned heating works. But the hotel is outdated and urgently needs renovating. The reception area has a really strong tobacco smell. What you get is in line with the price.
