The staff were kind, and the place was very clean, but after our nine days there in October, the room itself left me worried about the hotel's condition. The floor just outside the bathroom felt soft underfoot, as if it might give way, and the room was dim. I also wondered if there might be mold in the walls, and the air in the rooms felt unhealthy to me. There was no air conditioning, and when we asked for air circulation, we were told it wasn't the right season for it. That left us with no control over the temperature, which was especially uncomfortable with the bathroom staying wet all day. It had no fan, and the narrow glass panel did not cover the whole tub, so shower water sprayed around the room. They supplied shower gel and shampoo in the tub but no washcloths, which made the soap situation pointless. You have to leave your key in a wall slot to turn on the room's power, so get an extra key if you're traveling with someone or one of you will be left in the dark. There was a window you could open, but no screen, so bugs came in when the lights were on at night. Toilet paper was scarce, too. Dinner seemed expensive for what you got. I don't have anything bad to say about the employees. My concerns are about the hotel's overall condition, which really could use a redo.

The breakfast was very good, and the gym is free. The spa and pool, though, cost extra despite the hotel being called a spa hotel. One coffee machine made poor coffee, but the other one worked well after it was switched on the second day. The bed felt a little old and wasn't as good as the one at their other hotel where we'd stayed. Hopefully they update the beds soon. Otherwise, it was a very good hotel.

The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were helpful. There was a pretty decent breakfast spread, which comes in handy if you're on your Camino.

The village nearby has some good places to eat, and the hotel restaurant is good too, with quick service, tasty food, and reasonable prices. The hotel itself is quiet and restful even though it's near the main road, with hardly any traffic noise. Staff, especially at reception, were friendly and happy to help. The spa was great and reasonably priced as well. Rooms are large and comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious and clean. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but they can provide extra pillows.
