We got a good night’s sleep in a clean, well presented room, even though it’s close to the motorway. It was easy to reach from the road, and the stay was good value. Breakfast was continental only. The one downside wasn’t the hotel’s fault: they don’t serve evening meals, and none of the bars or restaurants in the village that we tried were serving dinner. Maybe it was the day or time of year, but we went to bed hungry. I’d stay here again.

The hotel is peaceful despite being right by the A62, and the rooms are spotless and completely soundproofed. It’s about a five minute walk to the charming old village of Simancas, which is well worth seeing. The location also works well for Valladolid and Salamanca, about an hour away. The young woman at reception was extremely helpful and spoke excellent English.

The staff were very polite, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom. There’s free parking, too. Breakfast is buffet style, with the basics for a nice breakfast, though don’t expect fried eggs or bacon. The hotel is in a pretty spot close to the castle and town center.

We booked by phone about an hour and a half before arriving, and check-in was quick and easy. The staff were pleasant, and our room was modern, spacious, and spotless. The hotel’s right off the highway, but the windows kept all the outside noise out. Parking in front was a big plus, and we were back on the highway in under a minute the next morning. For the low price, the quality was fantastic. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again if I’m in the area.

The staff were very friendly, and it’s an easy walk into the center of Simancas, with a restaurant nearby. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. Even with the highway close by, it was very quiet indoors.
