BONAIRE

Sineu’s midweek market is well worth a visit, and the town made a great base for seeing the island. We had a fantastic week at Bonaire Mallorca. The house is spacious, beautifully styled, and very clean, with excellent facilities. We especially enjoyed the colourful garden and patio, which had lots to look at. Easily the best place I’ve stayed by miles. Thank you xxx

The kitchen had everything we needed, and the coffee machine was superb. We also loved the spotless house, its lovely outdoor area and pool, and the careful attention to detail in every room. The hosts were friendly and helpful throughout. It’s a great base for visiting the historic town nearby and exploring the wider area.

The house is much larger than the photos suggest, with lovely places to spend time both indoors and out. We especially liked the shaded verandah, then the pool in the morning sun, perfect for coffee. The thoughtful styling and shutters that made the bedroom so dark meant our two-and-a-half-year-old slept until 8:30 every day, which felt like a miracle. It seems ideal for friends or a few families sharing. Paolo and Josi were wonderful hosts, and we hope to return. Sineu feels like a beautiful Mallorcan town rather than a tourist spot. It’s an easy drive to the coast and some fantastic beaches, with countryside paths nearby for an evening walk or run. Getting there from the airport is straightforward, and there’s also a train to Palma if you fancy a day in the capital. The old town location is right by cafes, bars, restaurants, and the famous Wednesday market.

Bon Aire has a great traditional Spanish feel, with high ceilings and stone tile floors that are a pleasure to walk around on. It’s private and comfortable, with a full modern kitchen, a washer, and a lovely patio overlooking the fruit trees and pool. Sineu’s centre is a three-minute walk away, with narrow old streets, a public square, weekend markets, friendly people, and good food. A couple of small additions would help, like a soap dish in the shower and tourist maps of Sineu, but my hosts did their best to offer directions and make me feel welcome.
