The fresh, healthy breakfast was delicious, and the spacious room was clean. The pool is cosy, with a beautiful umbrella. At night, the sunset has a mystical feel. This is the place you’re looking for.

Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh fruit, orange juice, hot drinks, and different dishes each day. Exceptional. My Junior Suite VC was spacious, simply designed, and kept very clean with daily room service. Cas Català is well placed in Sineu for cycling in every direction around Mallorca, which was perfect for my January cycling week. The very minimal rooms might feel a little less cosy to some, though I didn’t come to Mallorca to stay indoors. I was simply unlucky with the weather, which has nothing to do with this beautiful hotel.

The hotel is a one-minute walk from the main square and, for me, the best of its kind on the island. The staff were wonderful, the room was lovely and well equipped, and everything was spotless. It’s a stunning historic Mallorcan town villa, renovated to a high standard while retaining the best of the island’s architecture and clever design. Breakfast was delicious, and this is a five-star experience all round. We’ve stayed at many similar hotels on the island, and this one is my favourite. One issue was the booking process handled by what seemed to be a third-party company called homerti. I’ve worked in IT most of my life and still found the multiple emails, instructions, and directions annoying and confusing. The check-in page was hard to navigate, and the front-door access code was buried in an email among so much other information that it was easy to miss. I’d suggest changing provider or making the process clearer, with fewer details and the key information prioritised. Please don’t drive into town if you can avoid it. There are very few parking spaces, and cars just clog up the streets. Take the train instead. It’s clean, quick, cheap, and goes directly from Palma to town in 53 minutes. Don’t let the booking hassle put you off: the hotel is lovely, brilliantly staffed, spotless, and worth every penny.

Sineu is a great village to choose as a base for discovering Majorca. We felt at home from the welcome onward. The owner and the young man who looks after breakfast were very welcoming, and breakfast was very good. The hotel is set in an old Majorcan house that’s been renovated with great taste. The old-world charm remains, the comfort has been thought through, and everything is beautiful. This is honestly one of the best hotel stays we’ve had in a long time. Thank you again so much.
