Ashram Villa Sunshine

We came with friends to celebrate a birthday, and they were flexible and helpful with the yoga program so everyone could join in comfortably. When some of us were delayed traveling, they pushed the evening yoga back to accommodate us. Mikael and Tamara were incredible hosts, and the yoga was transformative. The accommodation looked exactly like the photos, and the views over the Mediterranean were breathtaking. Fresh food was cooked every day, wholesome, tasty, filling vegan meals. This really does sound like I’m gushing, but I always try to be honest in reviews and appreciate reading honest ones too. Don’t think about it, just book 💛

Mickel was a legend. We turned up as strangers and left feeling like family. He’s a brilliant cook, so do yourselves a favour and eat at the villa. The views are special, and the place is decorated so well. We’ll definitely come back.

I booked at the last minute and came on my own, which made me a little apprehensive. But as soon as I met Mikael, I relaxed. He picked me up from my hotel and brought me to the villa. Everyone else on the retreat had come alone too, and they were so welcoming that I felt at home straight away. The morning yoga was relaxing, while the evening session was more energetic, a perfect balance. The food was absolutely delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed the cooking class with mikael. Mikael also gave me a free upgrade to a beautiful apartment with a stunning view across Sitges. Nothing was too much trouble, and my stay was 5*. I had a fantastic time. My only regret is not staying longer, and I’ll definitely be back.

I came home feeling nourished physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The villa was gorgeous, with sea views, lovely sunsets, and calm sunrises. We were eight friends with different needs, and the hosts took care of each of us. Mikael and Tamara made everyone feel welcome. Mikael is a great cook, a funny person, and an inspiring yoga teacher. I like my yoga with plenty of humor. Tamara is beautiful inside and out, and I’d recommend trying one of her healing therapies.
