Hotel Medium Romàntic

The garden was lovely and peaceful, and the staff were thoughtful and kind. My husband and I felt welcome at Hotel Medium Romàntic, and the building has beautiful charm. Breakfast had a delicious spread with something for everyone. The location suited us well: we wandered through town toward the beach and enjoyed glimpses of the sea down the alleys. If you can get a room with a terrace, I’d recommend it. We’d love to return.

The garden, the hotel’s style and the short walk to the train station were all nice. Our room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had strong water pressure. Breakfast offered a good variety, and I especially liked the juice. I felt safe there, too, with CCTV in several areas. It was good value for what we paid, and I’d recommend it. The walls are thin, so it can be noisy, and better blackout blinds would help. A kettle in the room for hot drinks would be a nice addition.

We had a calm stay and slept really well. The beach was a 10 minute walk and the station about five minutes away. Breakfast was continental and could be eaten inside or out in the lovely garden. I shared a room with my two teenage sons. It had two sections and two balconies, and the view of another hotel’s impressive garden was magical. The place has a great retro feel but still seemed fresh and clean. Highly recommended.

The staff were friendly and the hotel itself was nice, but the WiFi made my stay very stressful. I booked mainly because reviews said the internet was fast, as I needed it for work. Instead, it was so slow that I couldn’t make a video call from my room. Getting online also meant connecting a Facebook account, a Gmail account, or entering all my personal details, including my birth date. I don’t understand why those are needed for WiFi, or why I had to submit my information three times: for the booking, online check in, and then WiFi. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you need to take work calls.
