Casa Fortuny

A brilliant base for hiking, climbing, or cycling. I arrived solo and left with an international family of friends, full of good vibes and stories. One trip highlight was the huge group dinner we cooked and shared. It feels closer to a boutique hotel than a hostel, with a big kitchen, spotless bathrooms, and very comfortable rooms. The guy at reception is a total angel, always smiling and ready to help. For adventurers, this place is paradise. Just go, you won’t regret it!

I stayed in a 14-person dorm, with hikers’ boots smelling awful and people snoring. The reception staff were unfriendly, and the owner seemed greedy.

A clean place with a nice atmosphere, a well-equipped kitchen, and Crocs for everyone. They also arranged the rooms generously. It was off season and there weren’t many guests, so each of us got a bed in a separate room. One thought, not a complaint: in a four-bed room, there might not be enough space for everyone’s things outside the lockers under the beds, or room to hang clothes when it’s full. Still, well worth recommending.

The general vibe was friendly, and breakfast was simple but nice, with everything I needed. I stayed in the family room and found the hostel comfortable, with large, well-equipped shared bathrooms and plenty of showers. The main issue was noise from other rooms, the hallway, plumbing, and street. I’d bring earplugs.
