Lluna Aqua Soller Hotel

The rooms are in poor shape and look nothing like the photos. This hostel seems more focused on making a profit than giving guests good service.

Avoid room 101. We arrived around 1 PM and were told our room wouldn’t be ready until 3. When we returned, they said it had just been painted and might smell. The paint odor was so strong that we had to ask for another room. They moved us to 101, downstairs beside a storage area. At first it seemed tidy, but the condition was awful, as other reviews have mentioned. The sheets were very dirty, and there was an obvious mold smell. A bathtub sits in the middle of the room, but spilled water has nowhere to drain and lands on the wooden floor. There weren’t enough towels to dry it. Moisture built up, and water was collecting in the walls. There was no hand soap, only small packets of shower shampoo. It looked as if mold behind the bed had been painted over, with the color now black where other reviews showed white. There was a cockroach too, though that wasn’t an issue for us since they’re natural. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel, especially room 101.

Room 134 was a good experience for us. The location is amazing, and the staff were the best part, really friendly and caring.

We left and booked another hotel rather than spend a night in those conditions. The staff were nowhere to be found after 8 PM on Sunday, so we couldn’t raise our concerns with anyone. Later we learned Room 101 had a history of terrible reviews, including repeated complaints about the bakery above starting loudly at 3:30 AM and no refunds being given. We’d booked a four-star hotel but were given a basement room that shouldn’t be sold at that price or presented as part of a hotel of this standard. Noise from running water in other rooms made it impossible to rest. The electrical plugs didn’t work, there was a strong moldy smell, and the toilet was exposed with no door. It’s shameful that they keep offering Room 101 to guests when it’s so unfit.
