A week before our booking, the owner cancelled without explaining why or offering another option. I don’t think he’s reliable. Several families have been affected, and some had already arranged transport and lost money. I hope this helps someone else avoid being left stranded.

We never even went, so I can’t speak to the facilities. What I can say is that 48 hours after making the reservation, we cancelled because of a family issue. They kept the deposit and then charged the full amount to our credit card. We’ll be reporting what we consider fraud. The owner has disappeared, and the platform hasn’t helped us.

Our weekend booking was cancelled with only four days’ notice, and no explanation or warning beforehand. Ten people were left without any alternative. There was no courtesy or professionalism in how it was handled.

We went in February, when hardly anyone was around. The village is very quiet, though it’s not especially pretty, and it worked well for a restful weekend. The house is quite spacious, with an interior patio that’s great for barbecues. The beds were the downside, neither very large nor especially comfortable.
