Honestly, it wasn’t a pleasant experience. Getting hold of him when we arrived to arrange the key was already difficult. Later, we asked if the payment was right after handing it to an elderly lady, but he didn’t bother replying. The pet fee was confusing too: one website listed €10 per day, Booking.com said pets were free, and at the accommodation it said €30 🤷🏼‍♀️. I also asked about checkout time because there were several hours between checkouts, and got no answer. He seems a bit disorganized.

The village was really peaceful and close to Ávila, with trails for long walks and plenty to see nearby. We spent three nights there with our daughters and dog, and loved the house, jacuzzi, and garden with its pool, even though it wasn’t swimming season. We enjoyed the garden and barbecue area. The house was very clean, had what we needed for a few days, and the owner was friendly. A perfect place to relax for a few days.

We had a good stay, though the weekend felt a little short. There’s enough room for a weekend away for two, and the fireplace suits the size of the house. With the heating too, we stayed warm. The patio is very close to the neighboring house’s patio, so there isn’t much privacy. We also wished the bathroom had more room for toiletries and other things. Those are small issues and don’t take away from the decor or cozy feel. Google’s directions took us along streets that weren’t passable by car, so we struggled to find the house, but the next day we found an easier way. Communication with the owner was good, and he answered our questions before and during the stay.
