We had a nice balcony overlooking the pool, and the hotel itself was decent, though the rooms were very simple. The location was fine, about five minutes from the beach. We went all inclusive and the food selection was amazing, so kudos to the kitchen staff. But money was stolen from our room by the cleaning staff. It was returned, yet the incident left a sour taste, and the hotel did nothing to compensate us for the trouble and stress. The safety box should be free instead of costing extra.

For a cheap and cheerful short break, we enjoyed ourselves, though our expectations were low for the price. The food was great, with loads of choice and well cooked, the beds were comfortable, and it was clean and tidy as expected. It’s a nice small hotel where we felt safe letting the children wander a bit, and an easy walk to the beach. Our room faced hostal calypso, which was ugly as hell. Just unlucky with our room, I suppose, and a pool view would have been lovely. The facilities were basic: an old TV, no clothes horse for wet clothes, and a tiny bathroom with a shower attachment that kept falling off. Some guests were an issue. Cheap all inclusive seemed to bring out the worst in a few people, with drinking all day. Police came on day two, and on the first night a woman woke us screaming for help. It was obviously scary for me and my children. It seemed like a toxic relationship, though that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. There were lots of people smoking around the pool. Even outside, it felt like you could inhale it all day because the loungers were so close together. In the morning, some guests were coughing after smoking and drinking too much. One morning there were still abandoned drinks and ashtrays out at 10am, which I didn’t think was great.

The staff were lovely and helpful, and the beach, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. The room was mostly clean, though dated and in need of a few repairs or upgrades. If you don’t drink late, I’d suggest asking for a room away from the pool. It was very loud until the free drinks stopped flowing each evening.

My mum and I stayed at your hotel in Mallorca from 17th-21st October, and what happened ruined the short trip I’d paid for as her birthday present. On the first night, she was upset that the bar closed at midnight. She’d had quite a lot to drink and was probably a bit sassy. She wasn’t served another drink and left as she was. She shouldn’t have been sassy, but she was drunk, it happens all the time. A little later she was outside smoking when the bar manager came out and said, “I am off my shift now, lets go,” as if trying to start a physical fight. My mum was confused and asked what? The manager said it again, then a third time. My mum stood up, as anyone would, and the manager went for her. There are witnesses who can vouch for this. I was asleep, and Mum couldn’t get into our room because we only had one key card. Reception refused to give her another, leaving her nowhere to sleep that night. She had to stay with people she’d met. That was awful, she was drunk and alone in a foreign country with no one to help her. In the morning I went looking for her and staff sent me on a wild goose chase. I only found her when she answered the phone. Looking back, it felt spiteful. We both felt the staff were rude to us for the rest of the stay, even though I wasn’t involved, just because I was with her. The manager also told people that Mum and I were “bad people” and that she didn’t like us. We felt intimidated by the evil looks whenever she was around. It completely spoiled our trip. I’m disgusted and appalled by how my mum was treated, and I’m demanding some sort of compensation. Her name was Mariella or Marbella.
