Pula Suites Boutique Resort

The staff, especially at reception, were the highlight. They were so welcoming and always ready with a smile and a helping hand, and really went out of their way to make our stay good. The hotel was quiet during our September shoulder-season visit. There are good golf and tennis facilities, a decent gym, and a large pool with a bar. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the pool bar offered lots of lunch options. Our room didn't look especially new, but it was always spotless, and the bed and duvet were among the most comfortable I've had in a hotel.

October was a lovely time for a weekend here. We spent it relaxing among the beautiful gardens, with friendly, first-class service. There's no need to leave the hotel, though there are plenty of things to do nearby. We cycled to Artá and had a perfect ride. One of the best weekends we've had in a long time, and we'll be back as soon as we can!

The pool bar food and drinks were very good, and the pool and spa were excellent. We also found the gym fairly well equipped. It was peaceful and not too busy while we were there, and the food was delicious. Half-board included a three-course à la carte dinner, which was consistently good. Two small improvements: clearer signs to reception would have helped, as we wandered for 5-10 minutes between the golf resort and Pula Suites before finding it. At breakfast, the eggs were often a little cold by the time the waiter brought them over, so it'd be nice to have the option to wait at the live cooking station. Neither issue had much effect on our stay. The service was impeccable, and we loved our time here.

All the suites are nicely separated, so there's plenty of privacy. The resort is high-end and relaxing, set in a beautiful, quiet part of Mallorca, with good breakfast and attentive service. I enjoyed the tennis, though the court could be better maintained, along with the rental rackets and balls. Dinner at the restaurant was the one part I didn't like, as it felt too expensive for what it offered.
