Booking through sites like booking.com gets blamed, but dealing with this hotel was complicated from the start. They make communication so difficult, then complain when people use platforms.

There was no one at reception when we arrived or when we left, and nobody available to sort out problems. It was 33C when we checked in, but opening the window meant diesel fumes from the generator running right outside all night. The room stayed stuffy and uncomfortable, and sleep was hard. The WiFi didn't work either. Check-in, check-out, and breakfast were handled at the cafe next door. The staff there were pleasant, though the setup was very basic, and there was no dining room. Major refurbishment work seemed to be underway, but we saw no sign of the owners or management. I really can't recommend it.

They were very welcoming to cyclists and took good care of my bike. The bedrooms were well appointed, and the restaurant and bar were good and reasonably priced.
