The rooms are pretty basic, and the bathroom felt a little cramped. I also heard street noise at night, and the staff could be slow to respond at times, though they were friendly. Still, it was clean, the location was great for seeing the city center, and the price felt fair enough. I stayed a couple of nights.

We barely slept. Music from the cafes downstairs kept going until 2 a.m., and we could hear people in neighboring rooms as well as the wooden stairs creaking with every trip up and down. The room itself smelled awful, and opening the door for air just brought in more noise. The downstairs entrance was always open, with nobody keeping an eye on it. We were in Soria for an engagement during Holy Week, when everything was booked, so we stayed, though I wanted to leave as soon as we got there. A nightmare, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The price feels like what you'd pay for a two- or even three-star hotel, but the quality is mediocre. These rooms are advertised as doubles, though they seem better suited to single occupancy. The service was disappointing from the time I booked. They didn't tell me there'd been a booking error or that access would be difficult with no elevator, even though I'd explained that someone in our party had mobility issues.
