The village is lovely, and the hotel’s location made it easy to reach all the places we wanted to see. Our room was spacious, clean and well equipped, and the staff were so friendly. Breakfast was good, with plenty to choose from.

We came across this place by chance and really loved it. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and comfortable, and breakfast was good. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and there was free parking. We’ll be back!

The host was lovely, and we liked the location, rooms and outdoor space. The breakfast was okay, though there wasn’t much choice. The big problem was how much noise came through the wooden floors from upstairs. We heard talking, footsteps, the toilet, the tap and the TV. After a full day out, trying to sleep around midnight or one in the morning while someone upstairs walked around in heels was impossible.

Rosa and Txisco made us feel comfortable from the start. They were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a great time here with my sisters while visiting Cantabria. The hotel is in a great spot, close to restaurants and bars and just a five-minute walk from the beach. Breakfast, with freshly baked pastries every morning, was included in the room price. The facilities are brand new, and our room was beautiful, clean and quiet. I highly recommend La Caracola and will definitely return on a future trip to Cantabria.

The proprietor was professional and friendly, and went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed despite our very limited Spanish. The hotel is simple, spotlessly clean and has a pretty garden. Breakfast was the continental kind you’d expect, and parking was easy and felt safe. The beach is two minutes away on foot, with the town’s restaurants and bars just a little farther. We had a fantastic two-night stay and are happy to recommend it.
