Bungalows Elma

There are six self-contained bungalows across a large property. The kitchen is basic, but the rooms are lovely, and the beds are really comfortable with super soft sheets.

The owners are friendly, and there are some lovely things here: a nice pool with perfect water, beautiful views, and a quiet setting in a good location. But it needs a proper overhaul. The shower handle, pool coping, and main door are among the things that need replacing. The beds are comfortable, although the doubles are very small and there's room for larger ones. The bungalow has poor sound insulation, so you hear everything the neighbors do and say. There are no extras like shower gel. Fine for a night or two, but I wouldn't stay longer.

La piscina, la terraza y el parque son great for the kids, and the setting is spectacular. The family who run the place live there and are super nice, and everything was well looked after. The kitchen is well equipped apart from lacking a grill or oven. I can live with a small shower and sink, and we barely used the uncomfortable Ikea sofa. But the bed was impossible to overlook: it sagged so much that from the first night my back felt completely twisted. I didn't give it the two stars I felt like giving, or the five I probably should, because I hope they'll take this as constructive criticism and not be hurt by the rating.

The shared garden and pool area are lovely, with swings and picnic tables, and there's plenty of room for children to play. Parking on the property made unloading easy. We needed somewhere to sleep at short notice for two adults and two two-year-olds, and this turned out to be a great find. Our hosts were welcoming and attentive right away, offering cribs and safety gates. The bungalow was cozy, clean, well equipped, and had plenty of space for the kids. We'll definitely return.
