Hyatt Regency Hesperia Madrid

The rooftop gym was a bit cold to get to, and some of its equipment wasn't working. Still, I felt at home during the two weeks I stayed here, something that doesn't happen for me even at more expensive hotels. The staff were incredibly pleasant and made us feel welcome, and several remembered my name. The hotel has a soothing feel thanks to its tasteful, modern design, and it's a great luxury option in Madrid's central business area.

Eva Serrano at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and kind, and I had a fantastic stay. It's a great base for getting around Madrid, with a metro station close by. The Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, and Santiago Bernabéu are easy to reach, and Chamartín Station is nearby too, which is convenient for trips to other cities. Highly recommended!

I really liked the food, including the coffee and tea. The meals were high quality and good value, and the service was exceptional. Someone called to check whether the room was okay, which I appreciated, though it wasn't, as I'll explain. I didn't feel like changing rooms. The room was very small, and even though I was told it had been upgraded, the closets had no shelves. At the same price, I'd rather stay in an AirBNB with more space. The USB outlets were the older type, so I couldn't plug in any iPhone bought in the last three years.

The birthday surprise for my wife turned a lovely dinner into a really special family memory. Jorge and Moha were warm and thoughtful all evening, and the whole team made us feel well looked after. The food was delicious, carefully prepared, and beautifully presented. We’ll be back. Thanks to everyone, especially Jorge and Moha.
