Friendly people, and great parking for old Landrovers!

We found this hotel at the last minute just past Valencia and before Cullera, without booking ahead. The welcome was warm, with that relaxed atmosphere you often find in Spain, and the neighborhood was quiet. Parking was easy enough, either on the street or in the car park. Our room was a little small, but the price was good and included breakfast. There’s also a nice tapas bar across the street in the park.
The staff were really friendly, and I slept well in the basic bed. It’s an old but quiet, clean hotel that’s okay for a quick stop, with air conditioning. The plumbing is noisy enough that you need to sleep with the bathroom door shut. I wasn’t given the Wi-Fi password, and the TV had no signal or channels even after I tried tuning it. Breakfast was average, with pastries, fruit, and the usual things. I’d only recommend it if you have no other choice.
We spent the last week of July here as a couple with our dog. The bed was comfortable, there was a lovely little terrace, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious too. It’s very close to Brosquil dog beach, and there’s a huge garden opposite where we could take our pet out for a drink. The only drawback was that the shower water wasn’t as cold as I’d have liked, but the air conditioning helped make up for it.
The service was very good, but they didn’t tell us breakfast was included or let us know the room price, €55 with breakfast.
